The people behind the standard.
TIPS is led by practitioners — speakers who have stood where their students are learning to stand.
Oliver Nshom
Professional speaker for over 17 years and founder of the Texas Institute of Public Speaking. Oliver spoke for over a decade without reasonable pay — preparing, travelling, pouring his heart out, and going home with "thank you." In 2023 the door opened: Singapore, then the United States, Spain, India. He built TIPS so the next generation would not walk that road without a standard: trained, examined, and certified from the start. His lessons from both seasons are written in six published books. He also founded CANASA, the Cameroon National Speakers Association, TIPS' licensed delivery partner in Cameroon.
CANASA
In Cameroon, TIPS programmes are delivered under licence by CANASA — the Cameroon National Speakers Association — through its national leadership and chapter trainers across the country's regions. CANASA trainers lead delivery, with certified co-teachers developed cohort by cohort.
