TIPS Certification
Earned by examination. Numbered. Verifiable.
The TIPS Certification is the institute's professional credential for speakers. It is not a certificate of attendance — it is proof that a speaker was trained, examined, and found ready.
How it works
- 1. Train — complete the TIPS certification training, in person or virtually.
- 2. Be examined — sit the official TIPS Certification Examination before examiners.
- 3. Be numbered — successful candidates receive a numbered TIPS certificate.
- 4. Be verifiable — every certificate stands in the official registry, checkable by anyone, anywhere.
The Cameroon cohort — applications open
The first TIPS Certification in Cameroon runs under licence by CANASA, in two intakes:
- THE TEN — Premium Certification Training for ten candidates: 100,000 FCFA in person / 60,000 FCFA virtual, three weeks (Nov 16 – Dec 2, 2026).
- THE FIRST SEVEN — the first Certification Examination, seven candidates only, certificates 001–007: 25,000 FCFA for training graduates / 50,000 FCFA direct entry (virtual 20,000 / 40,000 FCFA). Examination Dec 3, 2026, Buea.
- A 50% deposit claims a seat. Certificates are awarded on stage at the CANASA National Speakers Convention, Dec 5, 2026.
Pass the examination and your name joins the Certified Speakers Roll — the one list organisers check. The first seven names are written this year.
Completion is not certification. Finishing the training qualifies a candidate to sit the examination — only passing it certifies. That line is never blurred at TIPS.
